There's a main crux with the way the game wants you to 'Play the music by holding X' at any time. The Story tries it's hardest to drive the point of 'Making the Music you wanna make' into your brain, only to then go on, to limit musical expression to 'Hold X to shred Guitar' and 'Play Simon Says', while also omitting any rhythmic Element from the music it forces you to play.Īs everything is supposedly about music and composition, there is a whole other harmonic can of worms to be opened. Yet I feel compelled, to not only write a review, but the first negative Steam review i have ever written, about how much i hated it.įirst and foremost the thing most other critics have pointed out: The Gameplay is practically nonexistent! This is often the Case in 'Playable Story Games', but i feel it's outright damning for a Game about the 'Freedom of Artistic Expression'.
